Are meals provided at the Tide Cleaners Convention?
Thursday 10/3 there will be hors d’oeuvres at the Welcome Reception.
Friday 10/4 Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, a Snack, and All Day Coffee & Water will be provided.
Are meals provided at the Drycleaning and Laundry Expo West?
Please consult the DLEW website.
Does the Paris Hotel have a pool?
Yes. The pool is available to all guests.
If I am only attending the Reception and/or Awards Dinner, do I still need to register?
Yes. To keep your costs low, we have set the registration fee at $250, despite our actual cost per attendee being higher than that. Therefore, each person attending any portion of the convention will need to register and pay the $250 fee.
Why is the Tide Cleaners room block at the Paris instead of the Horseshoe?
As always, we want to provide you with the best. The rooms at the Paris have been recently remodeled and offer you the best comfort as well as a low negotiated price.
What are the dates of the Tide Cleaners convention v. DLEW?
Tide Cleaners Convention begins at 4pm on Thursday, 10/3 and ends at 10pm on Friday, 10/4.
DLEW occurs on Saturday and Sunday, 10/5 and 10/6.
Will our Tide Cleaners vendors be at the Drycleaning and Laundry Expo West also?
Some of our Tide Cleaners vendors will be at the DLEW also. We will keep track as vendors communicate their plans and let you know what to expect.
Do I need to register separately for the Drycleaning and Laundry Expo West?
Yes. The Tide Cleaners Convention, while held in conjunction with the DLEW, is a completely separate event. Please see the DLEW website for information on their event.
What is the dress code for the Convention?
Reception – business casual
Convention meetings – business casual
Awards Dinner – semi-formal
When will franchisees have the chance to talk to vendors?
At the Reception and Awards Dinner.
Are vendors holding any exhibitions at the convention?
The Tide Cleaners Convention will not sponsor any exhibitions or booths for vendors; however, many vendors that Tide Cleaners uses will be exhibiting at the Drycleaning and Laundry Expo West.
I am a Tide Laundromat franchisee. Is this convention for me?
We are so grateful that you are one of our pioneering TLM franchisees! This particular convention is geared toward Tide Cleaners franchisees. If you do not own any Tide Cleaners franchises, this convention will not address topics relevant to you. As the Tide Laundromat Franchisee team grows and develops, we hope very soon to be able to offer a Tide Laundromat Convention to address topics relevant to laundromats.
For this year, you may want to look at the Drycleaning and Laundry Expo West website to see if that meeting will be offering topics and/or vendors relevant to laundromats.
